Trapezoidal sheet
The first type of cladding elements what made from high-strength, galvanized thin steel sheet was the trapezoidal sheet. (commonly called “corrugated” or “fluted” sheet). Actually these profiles form the foundation of self-supporting roof- and wall cladding systems of hall buildings. Considering the aesthetic needs and economic viewpoints the most optimal product can be chosen from the wide colour and geometric range. (coating, colour, profile height, thickness, rib dimensions) The multilayer covering system on galvanized base material ensures great corrosion protection, surface resistance and the large choice of covering colours provides possibilities to choose the ideal aesthetic look.

Trapezoidal profile presents an industrial look with its square shape, but in many cases are needed more pleasing and harmonious facade appearance. The sinus wave profiled trapezoidal sheets can provide solution for the special architectural needs because with this profile can be reached a softer, more pleasing external facade appearance. The placement of wall cladding sheets can also be vertical, horizontal or diagonal.
The one-layer trapezoidal cladding is a perfect solution for industrial, agricultural or warehouse buildings with no requirements for heat insulation. But important to know wetness can appear on the internal side of trapezoidal sheet due to the internal and external temperature and humidity values differences (condensation). If it doesn’t interfere with the building function (e.g. in case of a stone storage hall) the wetness doesn’t cause problems, but the appropriate ventilation must be provided in the hall. If we want to prevent the condense water dripping in order to protect the stored products and materials there are two possibilities; you can apply one layer underlay foil under the trapezoidal sheet or the profile can be ordered with a special pre-glued anti condensation felt layer on its internal side. The felt layer can absorb and hold the condense water as a sponge while it get dry by the ventilation.
For heat insulated halls can be applied a local built double-skin roof- and wall cladding with an upper and lower trapezoidal sheets, between them the secondary-load bearing system (galvanized “Z” or “C” profiles) with mineral wool insulation and underlay foils. Determining the most appropriate technical properties of the cladding structure (insulation and underlay foil type, structural thickness, etc.) needs special, detailed temperature and humidity analysis. There is possibility to apply perforated internal trapezoidal sheet in order to reduce the noise pollution inside of the hall, because this double-skin cladding system with an internal perforated sheet can provide higher sound absorption.
